Joel Fields was welcomed by members of Cedar Crest Christian Church as their new pastor during a congregational meeting following the regular morning worship service held at the church.

Fields has been preaching and teaching the Word of God for more than 20 years under various ministries. The most recent has been at All For Your Glory church in Reno, Texas where he filled-in for Jerry Roberts, the founder. He came alongside Pastor Roberts serving as an Elder among that newly established body of believers. 

Fields was born in La Mirada, California and moved with his parents and siblings to Iowa in 1991. He and wife, Melissa, along with their six children moved to Texas because of an employment transfer while working for Toyota Financial Services. He and Melissa will celebrate 20 years of marriage this December.
